Well, that makes two things your brother has to validate: his maleness and his age (against your gender and age). He still has to prove (or has proof) that he's stereotypically superior, in those regards. Testosterone makes you do silly things.

My older sister does get on my nerves sometimes, she likes to act like a maternal figure and school me on all the trials and tribulations of life. But mostly we get along fine. I'd never throw a kart wheel btw, I mean... what it if breaks! What a waste. Stuffed animals are the way to throw.
Yeah, sisters always tend to act like mothers, I remember my brother telling me that 'Yes I understand MOM' which prompts me to throw a yaoi book at him or mess with his stuff. I actually remember waiting outside the bathroom so I can scare him.
