My Brother My Frienemy and Bully Rant

Posted by SuperChick - December 8th, 2013

As you all know me and my brother are sometimes the greatest friends but at other times we’re like bitter enemies as I’m sure most brothers and sisters are.

Well anyways recently we’ve been having our ups and downs, yes we do agree on some things but our tastes in anime differ in so many other ways however we both clashed when he told me that Mark Hamill voiced as the samurai that Afro had to duel in the movie Afro Samurai Resurrection however I was dead positive that the one who voiced the samurai was Liam O’Brian, of course this began one of our many petty arguments which ended with my victory and my brother admitting that I was right.

Yes I may sound petty for putting this on to my blog and yes I can sometimes come off as being a little bit obnoxious even though if you have ever met me in real life you would realise that I get very shy, especially if some of the people I meet turn out to be very pretty…

Yes I am shy when I come across very pretty or very gorgeous people, WHO ISN’T!!

I guess that would be something like an inferiority complex or something another.

I will admit, recently I have been looking through some of my old baby photos, I always do this when I’m sad or feeling really depressed, I look through these photos and I then realise something, I actually find myself always following my brother like a baby duckling, I even remember growing up that when we were over the town at home, that I would always want to follow my older brother around and my brother begrudgingly had to deal with my childish selfishness (he still tells me that I have scarred him for life) and the thing is because of my childishness (even to this day) if I try to be serious or say something important no one really takes me seriously, some people don’t even know if I am being serious or joking…

I guess it’s because of my personality (I could be either a dramatic S or a dramatic M or it could be both lol)

I put up such a cheerful front that people don’t realise that I’m actually the opposite, I was really negative about people and for a moment I actually hated them, this was probably from my experience that began in primary school, the kids were always quick to blame the fat girl who liked weird things and said weird stuff, (I’m slightly chubby now but I digress) but when I went to the teachers they don’t really do much, it was always

“You shouldn’t say weird things” or “You should act like a normal girl” or some twisted bullshit like that

At this point I’m wondering just what the hell is NORMAL?

Normal is what you tell a child when you don’t want to deal with them

if anything, normal people are the crazy ones!!

I was laughed at one occasion by everyone in my class because I was the only girl who volunteered to dribble a ball in P.E. class, of course the teacher stood up for me but it didn’t help much.

When it came to High school things went from bad to worse, I don’t think I could’ve made it without my friends, I actually pleaded with my parents to change schools because I wanted the bullying to stop, to just stop and have the people who bullied me punished, I wanted justice but of course I realised that I would be no better than them, I even told the teacher and once again nothing happened.

Of course that didn’t work and my parents kept me in the school

No offence there are some teachers that will do anything to help a student but I’m sorry, the schools and the teachers should show some bloody backbone, I am tired of them and their regulations and laws about not kicking out a student and actually just telling them off, they should help the students that are being bullied and not giving the bully a slap on the list how about you ban the prick from school or something like that.

If I have children and one of them comes home to me in tears and tells me that they are being bullied then I am going to WAR ON THE SCHOOL AND THE SCHOOL BOARD!!

No one, NO ONE will get away with hurting the people I care about…

And now I have just realised that I just turned a Brother my Frienemy into another rant about bullying, sorry guys :’(

Honestly, bullying is needed.
it builds character

Children can be incredibly cruel to each other, when the adults are busy.... doing whatever. The problem is, many kids are not being raised, they're damn near feral |: Parents figure, "Yeah I got the money to raise a kid", but do they have the time and patience to ethically teach a child? When people forsake family, deny God, then the State steps in to play both roles, and to the detriment (and control) of us all.
